The raw sales data had errors, duplicates, inconsistent formats and missing values.

• Cleaning functions: TRIM, CLEAN, IFERROR, ISNUMBER, TEXT
• Cross-checks with lookup formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH)
• Duplicates removed and missing values handled
• Validation rules to prevent future entry errors

03 /Outcome

A clean, validated dataset with before-and-after versions published in the repository.

04 /What I learned

Most analysis time is spent before the first chart. Clean data makes every later step faster and more trustworthy.
