01 /Overview

Candidate-job scoring logic was hard to maintain and debug, and could not be extended or fed with new data easily.

02 /What I built

• Weights and thresholds in a YAML configuration, not in code
• Scoring service separated from data loading and visualisation
• Dashboard with adjustable weights and a per-component score breakdown
• Custom application input and JSON upload with validation
• Export of results to JSON and CSV

03 /Outcome

A modular Streamlit proof of concept that scores candidate-job fit from weighted skills, experience, education and certifications.

04 /What I learned

Separating configuration, scoring and UI made the system easier to reason about, and it set up the ML version that followed (T2).
